This introductory course provides students with a comprehensive overview of forensic psychology, exploring its role at the intersection of psychology and the legal system. Through a multidisciplinary approach, students will examine the application of psychological principles, theories, and research methods to legal issues and criminal justice processes. Among the topics that may be covered include forensic assessment and evaluation, risk assessment, offender treatment and rehabilitation, and ethical considerations in forensic practice.
