Description
This Advanced Cybersecurity course builds on the background acquired in the foundational Cybersecurity course (CSC 4308) to delve into the legal and regulatory dimensions of modern cybersecurity while balancing privacy requirements with security imperatives. It also provides an in-depth exploration of both offensive and defensive cybersecurity using frameworks such as MITRE ATT@CK. Students will gain hands-on experience with real-world attack simulations and penetration testing methodologies, as well as preventive, detective, and responsive mechanisms, processes, and technologies, including Al-powered ones.
