Description

a. The Wonder & the Danger: AI in the History of Science and Technology: While Artificial Intelligence seems to have built a reputation as the newest thing around, it has a history of its own. This course covers the various species and interactions of "artificial intelligence" across the history of science in different cultures.
b. Nous and Logos, Human and Artificial: Perspectives from Philosophy and Education: This course examines concepts of the mind, brain, intellect, intelligence, language, reason, and learning, by bringing together perspectives from epistimology, ontology, and philosophy education. The goal is to allow students to understand how artificial intelligence can be engaged with in the realm of human learning and growth.
