Description

This is a 4-credit course in experiential and multi-site learning hosted by various organisations and setups in Morocco, in fields cutting across the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, as well as the Sciences and Business in a social, community, and public context. While the Thursday seminar will engage students with issues in social leadership and civic engagement in a contemporary Moroccan and global context, off-campus trips (the SHSS Caravan) to different regions of Morocco as well as invited guests conducting day-long simulations and projects will allow students to triangulate their classroom learning with a specific practical scenario in civil society, and with their own commitments, judgments, and sense of purpose as citizen-scholars, citizen-scientists, and citizen-activists
