The pictures that I've chosen to this discuss for this assignment are picture number 4 and 12. In Chiapas, a thousand of people are merging their practices with Islam.

The 4th picture  shows a little boy from the back praying in a mosque. You can't know his identity but you can surely assume that his a Muslim. This shows the variety of Islam and  also how it can be available to different cultures  in  different places in all over the world. The other picture that caught my attention is picture number 12. It illustrates men slaughtering a cow in Eid al Adha as all muslims does to celebrate this holy day. Men are expected to slaughter  the animal wjile women are supposed to take care of the cooking. That's why se don't notice any women in the picture.
