Islam in Chipas and indigenous Islam merge in some ways according to the article and also using the pictures to illustrate how the collaborate. 

I will us the 13th picture in which men are found slaughtering a cow for the Eid celebration which is also similar to every Muslim nation and individuals to practice yearly and this practice does not involve women being there during the killing of the animal as we can see in the photo no female was present . Another example is on the 8th picture where we can see women covered up in their scarfs  and traditional garments, this is also seen in an indigenous practicing Muslim state . Women are expected to cover their bodies thoroughly in every Islamic society.
