Description
Placement based on TOEFL sub-scores and/or placement tests.
The course will systematically introduce students to all the essential structures of sentences and their constituent phrases in English. At each stage there will be practice to develop adequate recognition and production skills with primary emphasis on spoken English. This emphasis on spoken English is maintained throughout with gradual development of attention to grammar in a real academic context.
