According to an article i read on the web, 48% of the population in Africa are Muslims. This means that half of the continent is a Muslim. I think that this is huge in a way where it's such a big community in the same continent and I'm sure that the Islam they practice is a little different from the one in the middle east for example, or in other continents and regions in the world. They have a different culture and I think that it impacts their practices and how they honor god. It would be very interesting to have this fresh perspective, to see how in other cultures, especially in the African one, Islam is practiced. I also think that it is having different practices depending on where you are in the world is very interesting because it gives you a broader idea on the religion, and also proves that everyone sees religion in its on way and that it is OK to do so, because at the end of the day, you are the one who believes and how you choose to do so is entirely up to you.
